I give thanks for
the rain storm
her arms around me, telling me that its okay to not be perfect as I cry
him laughing as I'm totally grossed out
us standing around chatting
that its okay if I'm not totally perfect
that I am loved anyway
her telling me "I'm here for you, even while I'm racing you!"
the rain sound outside
days getting colder
I am so grateful for these things.
I'm the oldest,
and when I don't meet the goals I set,
I'm not happy.
So grateful today for friends and coaches who tell me its okay to have an off day.
To not always be perfect.
To remind me of how far I've come.
So grateful for a God who does the same.
